On March 16, 2024, Local Station Board (LSB) members aligned with Rescue Pacifica submitted to the KPFA LSB an emergency resolution opposing the genocidal Israeli military attacks on Gaza and opposing the role of the US government in arming and funding the Israeli military.
This resolution calling for a statement against the genocide in Gaza and calling for peace was voted down by the “Protectors”, which has a majority on the KPFA LSB.
