Candidate Statement: I am the founder of the International School for Qabalistic Tarot and Tree of Life Study in 1975 and have been living, studying, consulting with, and teaching these subjects for 50 years. As a practical mystic (so-named by my students), I am dedicated to integrating the teachings of the non-sexist, non-racist, non-homophobic Qabalah into my daily life and encouraging my students to do likewise.
I am the author of several books including: “Living the Qabalistic Tarot,” “Principles of Qabalah,” “Tarot for Dummies, and a children’s book on the topic of divorce and separation,”Silas and the Mad-Sad People..
My spare time is dedicated to sociopolitical and environmental activism, I.E. The Peace Movement, and the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., since the 1960s. More recently: Code Pink Women for Peace, Occupy, Raging Grannies, Greens, No Nukes, and Greenpeace. Worked for George McGovern. Also worked for Bernie Sanders in 2016 and 2020. Was basically told to leave San Jose Demo Convention in 2016 because I wanted to be a Sanders rep at the National Convention.
